Pegasus
A collaboration piece with Gabe Fletcher of Anchorage Forge and Anchorage Brewing, we brainstormed several different ideas before deciding on doing something a little bit unorthodox - a tuna sword inspired slicer.
After I drew out the initial sketch and sent it to Gabe, he forged out the damascus billet and drew it out to the blade. From there, I took it over and got it heat treated, ground, tested, and finished.
This is the ultimate slicer for a kitchen. Double bevel, long enough for any task (except maybe a full-sized tuna), thin enough for A5 wagyu, but substantial enough to slice everything else.
